yesterday mg and i took a loaf of bread, peanut butter, and jelly to the park, sat at a picnic table, and ate lunch in the sun. i think it was one of the moments we've shared that i've enjoyed the most.

My Geek:
According to the modern dictionary a geek is any smart person with an obsessive interest (a nerd is the same but also lacks social grace).
He is smart. And he obsesses, therefore I lovingly refer to him as My Geek.
Remy:
He is a mutt and is irrefutably the BEST DOG EVER. Being a dog, he gets to use his own name.
Italics:
A medium-hair calico and about the prettiest cat you've ever seen. He believes he owns the house. He demonstrates this by jumping on the counters. Or climbing on your lap and sitting on top of the book you're reading.
